The Route:
For those who wish to participate in the walk, of course you are most welcome. A pleasant stroll in the fresh air is always a cleansing and healthy activity. If you wish to participate for the whole day, I suggest you start training now and see about appropriate footwear and equipment. A 20 mile "stroll" is not something to be treated lightly. Also, although casual, local sponsors may require an estimated time of arrival to plan for the sponsors "end of Day" celebration. For those wishing just a casual outing, each day will have a last part to join in with. The Big Red Bus will run a shuttle from the end of the walk (town Square) back to the joining point and then participants can stroll the last part of their walk back to town and any "End of Day" celebration provided by the local sponsor and where their cars are parked. Below, under each days destination is the joining point. Although it is planned to arrive in town around 5:00pm each day, conditions and local sponsors requirements will be variable so please check the "Details" page on the day of the walk for information about shuttle pick up time, joining time and any "End of Day" celebrations.
